Former WWE NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose was unceremoniously released by WWE after she lost her title to Roxanne Perez. Rose’s title reign lasted for a whopping 413 days. On Wednesday, Fighful reported that Rose was fired by the company following losing the match against Perez. However, the real reason for her release was WWE taking offense to Rose posting her racy pictures on a subscription-based platform, FanTime (similar to OnlyFans).

Her expulsion led to an outrage among her fans and ever since her firing, a lot of fans and wrestling personalities have come out in support of Mandy Rose. The 32-year-old was reportedly warned by the WWE management to not post any explicit content before their hands were forced.

Although Rose’s departure came as a shock to her and her fans, on the brighter side, the controversy earned her more subscribers and made her more money from the app.

Mandy Rose earned a whopping $500,000 since her expulsion from WWE

It was previously reported that Mandy Rose was making more money off her paywall content than her WWE contract. According to a new report from TMZ, her business agent Malki Kawa revealed that Rose made a staggering $500,000 from her account since she was fired.

Kawa also speculated that Rose will soon become a self-made millionaire by Christmas. While many think it was unfair for WWE to fire her, Rose seems to be unfazed by the incident as now a lot more money is rolling in for the former NXT Women’s Champion. Her departure from the biggest wrestling promotion may have been a blessing in disguise.

Although WWE was famous for promoting risqué content and titillating storylines in the past, the product has been PG-13 since 2008. In 2020, former CEO Vince McMahon issued a letter to all wrestlers ordering them to stop using any third-party platforms with their names in a way that can be unwholesome for the company.

Booker T believes Mandy Rose should have prioritized her wrestling career

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, also the color commentator at NXT, has worked closely with Mandy Rose. Booker also once coached Rose during her time at WWE’s Tough Enough. Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, the former five-time WCW Champion weighed in on Mandy Rose’s situation.

According to him, Mandy Rose should have focused more on having a longer stint with WWE and more TV time as the money she is making from FanTime was not going anywhere.

I hate it because that money was going to always be there for Mandy Rose. It was like money in the bank. She didn’t even need it right now. It was money in the bank for Mandy Rose. I could be wrong, maybe she does need it right now. I don’t know. What I’m saying is, the bigger her star would have risen in the WWE, the more money she would have been able to demand going forward in life.
