Vince McMahon has been the be-all and end-all in WWE for several decades. He has been the man in charge of everything from top to bottom. From business decisions to booking storylines, Vince McMahon has always been the person making all the calls. However, since his short-lived retirement last year, he has given the reigns of the creative to his son-in-law Triple H. Although, fans wonder if Vince will eventually start booking the show once again. This has led to rumors of a power struggle between the two, with many wondering what their relationship is like at the moment.

More fuel was added to the fire when Stephanie McMahon stepped down from her position as the Co-CEO, shortly after Vince McMahon fought his way back onto the board. But what really is the relationship like between Triple H and Vince McMahon? Have the two fallen out with each other as believed?
Nick Khan Reveals Whether Triple H and Vince McMahon Get Along or Not
WWE CEO Nick Khan recently appeared on “The Bill Simmons Podcast.” When asked if the WWE would go back to the way, it was run when Vince McMahon was in charge, Khan replied in the negative, stating that the WWE Chairman was quite pleased with the way things are at the moment.
“I think Vince is really happy with where the company is at, certainly that is what he has conveyed to me,” Khan said.
When asked about the rumors of a rift between Triple H and Vince, Khan said:
“There’s always been a lot of Twitter chatter that somehow [Triple H and Vince McMahon] aren’t getting along. I think everybody is getting along just great.”
WWE leaning towards non-traditional surprises at Royal Rumble
Royal Rumble 2023 will be the first Royal Rumble with Triple H in charge. He will definitely want it to be a major success. However, instead of going about it the regular way by bringing in legends and veterans for the event, it appears that there is talk of the WWE leaning more towards non-traditional surprises, according to a report from Fightful.
There is no word, however, on what this means, but it is something being pushed by the Creative and Producers.
This is not the first time Triple H has added his own twist to a big four pay per view. Last year, he introduced the main roster fans to the War Games for the first time, making it the main event of Survivor Series.
The pay per view traditionally features an elimination tag format. However, Triple H decided to do something different, and it handsomely paid off. We will have to wait and see if the Royal Rumble shows similar results.
