Triple H Shawn Michaels Mandy Rose

In 2022, WWE’s name was dragged into the news two times for something controversial. First, it was because of Vince McMahon, who got involved in a Hush Money Scandal earlier this year in May. The whole thing led to him announcing his retirement in July. And the second controversial thing that happened in WWE was the release of Mandy Rose last week. While the exit of Mr. McMahon went well with fans, the firing of the former NXT women’s champion has brought a lot of backlashes to the management.

Recently, 2-time WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash, on his Kliq This podcast, also talked about Rose’s exit from the company. In fact, Big Daddy Cool drew comparisons between Triple H and Shawn Michaels’ decision with Vince McMahon’s exit.

Kevin Nash shared how he looks at the WWE release of Mandy Rose

Although both incidents took place with two different people and for completely separate reasons, there is something to compare. Well, if not for fans, at least for Kevin Nash.

“It comes down to the absolute loss on a daily basis of more and more freedoms,” the Hall of Famer stated.

Talking about Vince Mcmahon’s controversy, Nash noted it was not like the ex-WWE CEO was filming the s*x acts he was having. Big Daddy Cool further added that the whole thing happened between “consenting adults” and is like “apples and oranges”.

Moreover, it also appeared that Kevin Nash was not okay with how Triple H and Shawn Michaels handled the recent situation. For those who are unaware, last week WWE released Mandy Rose following the controversial content she posted on her FanTime account. The whole firing/releasing decision of WWE has been widely criticized by fans.

While discussing Mandy Rose’s WWE release, it appears Big Daddy Cool didn’t like the decision of his old buddies. Nash feels if Mandy’s FanTime posts were with her wrestling gear or the NXT title, she has crossed the line. However, if she’s being her, the money she is earning is going directly to her real name, not the onscreen one.

“It’s not like she’s a prostitute. It’s not like, she’s not doing anything that’s against the law…” Nash stated.

The Leader of the Toxic Attraction used her FanTime account to thank her fans

Well, it seems Mandy Rose receiving a release from WWE has affected the fans more than Rose herself. Despite reports claiming the doors of a future return are open for her, she appears happy with where she is. After her departure, in fact, she took to her FanTime page and thanked her fans for all the support. Moreover, she went on to assure them that the page was still up.

Nevertheless, it is obvious that Mandy Rose getting released from WWE is getting a two-way reaction. Though a majority of people think the management’s actions were too harsh. Anyway, it’s a Triple H-led WWE where things can get sorted out sooner than later. Though as of now, the former NXT women’s champion is gone from the company.
