So far, other than Vince McMahon, the year 2023 has been filled will tension for everyone associated with WWE. After the return of the former CEO, nothing has gone the way it was for the last six months or so. In fact, many fans and pundits believe Vince’s arrival has destroyed the work of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. So-and-so that there are questions about whether the power coupe will start their own promotion outside WWE.
Recently, Dave Scherer from PW Insider received an interesting question in his latest mailbag. A fan asked Dave if there is any chance Stephanie’s resignation led to her starting her own company. The fan believes Stephanie could buy her dad’s stocks and start a company just like Vince started. Dave Scherer not only answered the question, but he also discussed the scenario of how Stephanie McMahon and Triple H can do that.

As far as Stephanie leaving to buy her dad’s stocks is concerned, Scherer dismissed the idea. He feels there is no chance she resigned to buy Vince’s company.
However, he did paint a picture that might see Stephanie McMahon and Triple H starting their own. According to Scherer, if Mr. McMahon does end up selling WWE to Saudi’s PIF, this is how his daughter and son-in-law can start their own promotion.
Scherer feels if Saudi owns WWE, the company will be a “leper” in the United States. It would then see Stephanie McMahon and Triple h going to NBC Universal and pitching their idea.
“If Vince [McMahon] really does the most heinous thing I can think of and sell [WWE] to the Saudis [PIF], which would make the company a leper here in the US. I could definitely see Steph [Stephanie McMahon] and HHH [Triple H] going to NBC Universal and pitch starting a company for them.”
What exactly are the chances of that happening with Triple H still in charge of WWE’s Creative?
For a matter of discussion, let’s consider the possibility of Triple and Steph starting their own company. Currently, only Stephanie, who recently stepped down as CO-CEO, is out of WWE. As far as her husband is concerned, his position as Creative Head is still intact. So, as of now, both starting their own promotion is out of the question.
However, if Vince does take Triple H’s creative role, which many believe will eventually happen, then nobody knows what will happen. In Vince’s absence, Both Steph and HH have proved they can make a company grow. In fact, under their leadership, WWE made huge profits and broke WWE’s many records in terms of revenue.
Nevertheless, Vince is back, and what happens with WWE, is something only he knows. However, the way his comeback has been reported from WWE backstage, things are looking a bit dicey. And just like Stephanie, if HHH decides to resign, WWE is surely going to go down the hill. As to both starting their own company, who knows, anything can happen in the world of pro wrestling.
