Yannick Carrasco is looking for a move to Europe according to his wife.

Yannick Carrasco who decided to force his way to join the Chinese club Dalian Yifang from Atletico Madrid is reportedly looking to move back to Europe after spending a year at the North-East country, according to his wife Noemie Happart.

Since his arrival at the Asian continent, it has not gone to the plans for the Belgian International who has struggled to make a name for himself in the Chinese top tier. The winger was unsettled with the Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid because Diego Simeone refused to play him which enhanced him to move to Asia.

Several publications report that Manchester United are unlikely to make any incomings in this window, but that could change if they are showing concrete interest on Yannick Carrasco.

On the other hand, Unai Emery has ruled out permanent deals, paving way for temporary deals until the end of the season. There were several reports quoting that the Gunners would be making a deal worth 25 million, but those rumours were squashed by Arsenal manager.

It is also understood that Dalian Yifang are also looking to cash him on if any suitable offer arrives for the former Monaco midfielder.

His wife openly spoke that Carrasco has been looking for a move to Europe in the near future.

Noemie Happart said that Arsenal and Manchester United have been interested on the winger who looks to prise his move away from China.

She said that “Yes, they are very interested. I do not hide it, but nothing is signed.”

She also added that she is keen to return to Europe “to be closer to friends and family”.

Besides, it is understood that the forward has received various offers across England, Germany, Italy, and Spain.

There is no doubt that Dalian Yifang are on the fringes to cash in on him. It will be interesting to see where he would move in this January transfer window. Even though Monaco have not retained their interest, a move to the French outfit could benefit both the parties are they seek to avoid an embarrassment relegation this term.

Arsenal are the team who require an out and out winger more than Manchester United who are currently stocked up in the forward department. Will Carrasco be part of the pushing bus at the Emirates under Emery?
