2) Baron Corbin

Before Wrestlemania, I was sure that this year Baron Corbin will win the MITB match, but the debut of Nakamura changed my view. That being said, Baron Corbin has a strong case to be the winner. Everyone is impressed with the fact that Corbin improved a lot from his NXT run and now he is a legit main eventer. But like Zayn no one actually knows when his big push is going to get started, but as he is a heel many people are speculating that MITB match will be the start of Corbin.

1) Shinsuke Nakamura

The King of the Strong Style, Shinsuke Nakamura is the hottest thing on the main roster right now and after not so great feud with Dolph Ziggler I think WWE will be keen to make the most of this big opportunity to push the new Main guy.

The most exciting prospect is that of Nakamura winning the MITB briefcase and AJ Styles recapturing the WWE title in the near future. We can then get the AJ Styles Vs Shinsuke Nakamura match for the WWE title. So if it’s not too soon for that Nakamura is the favorite to win the upcoming MITB match.
