Twitter erupts as Nadal gifts Tennis fans a Federer-Nadal final at the Australian Open

It was a match that tested skill, emotion and grit; a match that could afford two warriors but couldn’t afford two winners. It’s just a shame that you couldn’t pull out two winners from the match. After all the drama that was presented to the fans, it was Nadal who played the big points better to narrowly edge out Grigor Dimitrov in 5 gruelling sets of Tennis.

For long now Dimitrov has been tipped as the future champion of the Tennis circuit, and today was probably his biggest breakthrough, a match that helped not only the fans realise his potential, but most importantly helped himself understand how far he has come in the game.

Nadal has gifted the tennis romantics with a fairytale Roger vs Rafa final, something that everyone wished for, but few could have vouched for.
