Was David Warner arguing with Ricky Ponting after his dismissal versus England during England vs Australia World Cup match at Lord’s?
During the 32nd match of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 between England and Australia at The Lord’s Cricket Ground in London, David Warner was seen being involved in a heated argument with his team’s assistant coach- Ricky Ponting, at the iconic Lord’s balcony post his dismissal against England.
It is worth mentioning that the Southpaw hit yet another half-century (53 off 61) to amass his ongoing World Cup total to 500 in just 7 matches, at an average of 83.33. However, at The Lord’s, he got out against the English off-spinner Moeen Ali, after playing a pretty ordinary shot, to hand a simple catch to Joe Root at backward point.
Just a few overs post his dismissal, he was seen having a discussion with former Australian skipper Steve Smith, perhaps regarding his batting, or the way he got Out against Moeen, as is clearly visible in the video.

It is just a few seconds post that brief discussion, that Ricky Ponting makes his entry, and the duo seemed to have a sort of verbal argument between themselves.
What did exactly happen?
As per the video, Ricky Ponting seemed to have passed a comment or two, while Warner was having a word with Steve Smith. Soon after Ponting’s comments, the Southpaw got visibly angry and had a heated sort of discussion with the 3-time World champion. Steve Smith, on other hand, took a back seat and had a good time upon seeing the duo quarrel.
A few moments later, however, Warner leaned against the balcony and started smiling with a broad grin on his face.
