Hotspot exposes Doug Bollinger’s fake hair

An old video of Doug Bollinger’s fake hair getting exposed on social media is doing rounds once again. 

The hotspot is used to cut down the errors in the game. It acts as an intermediate for the fourth referee to find out any potential edge from the batsmen and in various parts of the game.

The technology eliminates the howlers to a certain extent and it has brought a sense of entertainment to the game as players wait for the decision which will get published on the big screen. Meanwhile, fans who sit on the sidelines, are also served with the same.

To come to people’s amusement, it once exposed the Australian pacer Doug Bollinger once. An old clip shows that the former Chennai Super Kings fast bowler’s bald part which got exposed despite doing a hair transparent.

Hair transparent is becoming a common trend these days. When people start losing their hairs, it’s a source to regain and become young again!

The Baby faced Doug Bollinger went through the same problem and repeated what his compatriot Shane Warne did before!

This clip is taken from 2010 when Australia played West Indies. Australia batted first and posted a scoreline of 256/8 in 50 overs, thanks to a half-century from Shane Watson and valuable contributions from Ricky Ponting, Michael Hussey, and Mitchell Johnson.

In reply, the visitors were off to a worst possible start, losing Chris Gayle and Runako Morton early on in the second innings.

This incident took place in the first over of the West Indian innings. Windies batsmen Dowlin wafted away at a delivery that was pitched outside off and was angling it away from the right-hander, edging it closer to Cameron White in the second slip.

The hotspot showed the clear outside edge and it didn’t end there. It showed the potential bald scalp on the bowler’s head; one which nine years later is still doing social media rounds.
