Bangladesh pace sensation Shoriful Islam sends RA Mariu’s leg-stump cartwheeling after delivering a splendid ball into the wickets.
Shorufil Islam is seen among the best Bangladeshi young talents at the moment. The left-arm pacer has been going from strength to strength although he is yet to break into the senior Bangladesh side.
However, Islam is attracting eyeballs with his splendid balling once again and can be handed his first senior side debut, if he continues his such exploits.
The pacer is currently in New Zealand with the Bangladesh U19 side. On Sunday, the two teams locked horns in the first one-day match. Shoriful Islam turned out to be one of the most impressive performers.
The Bangladeshi pacer picked up 3 wickets for 44 runs in 9 overs he delivered in the game. It was not difficult for Islam to find his first success.
In the last delivery of his first over, where he took a beautiful wicket, while knocking the leg-stump wicket. Islam bowled a straighter delivery that Mariu wanted to defend. However, the ball cut back just at the last moment and sent the leg-stump cartwheeling.
The sight of the stump wheeling on the ground was indeed pleasing, and certainly his early success propelled him to find two more wickets in next 8 overs.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh U-19 team defeated Newzealand U-19 by 6 wickets. New Zealand were all out for just 176 in 48 overs. In reply. Bangladesh rode on Akbar Ali’s unbeaten fifty to chase down the total with ease.
To make it sound even more better, the Bangladeshi contingent secured the match with 10 overs spare in their innings.
With such performance, it would not be long when Islam will rise up in the ranks of Bangladeshi team to get his first senior team camp, while the cricket board waiting for him to be fully groomed.
