Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2019 Live Streaming and broadcast: The SportsRush present before you the live streaming details of SMAT 2019.
The 11th season of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy will begin tomorrow as 38 domestic teams will play each other in India’s premier domestic T20 competition. The tournament will be played across six venues in India namely Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Thiruvananthapuram, Surat, Mumbai and Chandigarh.
What throws this tournament into prominence is the looming auction of the next season of the Indian Premier League. Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy has a history of preparing players for not just the IPL but also the national team.
With plentiful players taking part, the tournament is keenly followed by IPL scouts. Players who do well might just be rewarded the next month.
Other than the IPL scouts, national selectors are also likely to follow the tournament considering that the ICC T20 World Cup is slated to be played in less than a year’s time. With India yet to finalize their squad, some known faces might get a nod on the back of convincing performances in the tournament.
