David Warner hints at SRH acquiring Mitchell Starc
Going by a recent Instagram story of Australia and SunRisers Hyderabad opening batsman David Warner, SunRisers might be considering to buy Starc.
The image shared by Warner sees himself, Starc and SunRisers captain Kane Williamson talking to each other. “Welcome to the Sunrisers Hyderabad,” read the caption of the Instagram story.

It is worth mentioning that Starc had opted out of IPL 2020 even before the shortlisted names for the auction were announced. Therefore, SRH won’t have the option of buying him this year. However, they might target him during the mega auction slated to be held next year.
Starc, who bowled Australia to victory in the first Test of the ongoing New Zealand’s tour of Australia in Perth yesterday, took part in the recently concluded T20I series against Australia and Sri Lanka at home.
In five T20Is, the 29-year old fast bowler picked eight wickets at an average of 15.75, an economy rate of 6.63 and a strike rate of 14.2.
