The Indian legend defied age as he jumped and stretched his arms out to dismiss Powell, who was looking to free his arms. The dismissal came at the right time, as the West Indian side were threatening to run away to a huge total.
Shivnarine Chanderpaul was the shining star for the batting side. He scored 61 of 41 balls before Munaf Patel dismissed him in the 19th over. Tino Best walked in soon after and sent the ball out of the ground before losing his wicket to a run out immediately.
The Indian legends side have been set a target of 151 in their 20 overs. Legendary opening pair, Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag will take guard. Fans will hope for them to turn back time and sent the bowlers to the cleaners.
The ‘Unacademy Road Safety World Series’ is a tournament conducted in order to raise awareness regarding road safety. It is being organised by the Road Safety Cell of Maharashtra in partnership with PMG.
