Shoaib Akhtar targets Kashmir issue: The former Pakistani spearhead has invited a fresh controversy on Twitter.
Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has invited a fresh controversy which has erupted after his recent tweet regarding the outbreak of COVID-19.
Taking to his Twitter account to perhaps express concern about the “pandemic”, Akhtar ended up taking a sly dig at the Kashmir issue.
“Dear world, How is the lock down?” read the image which Akhtar tweeted. It is worth mentioning that Akhtar had also mentioned the name of Kashmir at the bottom of the image.
Akhtar, who runs a successful YouTube channel these days by expressing his views on various cricketing topics, hinted at the lock down in Kashmir due to the current political situation.
The 44-year old attempting to taunt the Kashmir situation with respect to coronavirus saw him receiving severe criticism on the same platform. From people finding faults in the post to sharing screenshots of not following Akhtar on Twitter and unsubscribing to his YouTube channel, Akhtar was on the receiving end of disapproval from fans.
