PES banned Barcelona from taking part in Charity FIFA tournament
PES banned Barcelona from taking part in Charity FIFA tournament. The coronavirus outbreak has bought a halt to sports across the world.
The financial ramifications of the pandemic have been felt across the world. However, in spite of earnings taking a beating, several football clubs and footballers have done their part to provide as much monetary support to the ones that need it the most in this time of crisis.

PES banned Barcelona from taking part in Charity FIFA tournament
According to ESPN journalist Samuel Marsden, Konami, the developers of Pro Evolution Soccer, did not allow Barcelona’s Sergi Roberto to represent Barcelona in the charity tournament. PES and FIFA are the two biggest football games in the world.

It is natural for competitors to not want to concede an inch to the other. However, in times like this, PES, who renewed their partnership with Barcelona for a further three years last summer, clearly did not care about those that are currently suffering from this devastating illness.
Konami displayed even more pettiness by banning Alejandro Pozo, Mallorca’s representative.
At a time when the world has tried it’s best to stand together, Konami will not come out smelling like roses when it should have put aside it’s ill will and instead could have garnered even more praise for coming out in support of a rival at.
