Shawn Michaels involved in argument over racial inequality with NXT Producer
According to Fightful, a WWE producer made a comment about how everyone in the country was already treated the same. Michaels considered the comment ignorant especially considering the social climate regarding racism in America.
The report read:
Michaels was discussing the current social climate with another producer, when said producer mentioned that everyone already gets treated the same. This didn’t sit well with Michaels, we’re told, who broke down systematic prejudice and inequality to the persona in a very heated discussion.
The report does not name who the producer was. It does however, add that Michaels was professional and remained cordial with him throughout the event. In fact, the heated talk was so lowkey and in private that the talent on hand for In Your House didn’t even hear about the disagreement until the following day.
