Just Days before UFC 251, Gilbert Burns tests positive for COVID-19, consequently affecting the main event which is now off.
After UFC Fight Night 172, it is UFC 251 which is dampened by the Coronavirus particles. And this time the entire picture of the event is hampered, as the main money fight i.e., Kamaru Usman VS. Gilbert Burns for the UFC Welterweight championship has been called off.

Who Got Infected?
According to several sources, Gilbert Burns along with his two cornermen in the form of his brother Herbert Burns and coach Greg Jones, have all been tested positive. Following which they did not fly to Abu Dhabi, where the event is set to take place next week.

Will The UFC 251 Main event Fight Get Rescheduled or is There Any Substitute?
The UFC will soon come up with an official statement, but according to reports the fight is expected to be rescheduled at a later date. However, fighters such as Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal were quick to offer their services for the main event. And definitely want to pounce upon the opportunity.
More Fighters are expected to appear in the scene.

While the future of the UFC 251 main event is uncertain. The rest of the main card carries another two title bouts. For which the official lineup remains static i.e.,
