Kevin Durant mocks Lakers’ Kyle Kuzma over ‘I would have scored over Jesus’ statement
Nets superstar Kevin Durant mocked Lakers star Kyle Kuzma for his ‘I would have shot in front of Jesus’ statement after Nuggets game winner.
The Lakers fanbase seemed elated when third-year forward Kuzma made the game-winning shot against the Nuggets after LeBron James acted as a screen to complete the move.
Kuzma mentioned in his post game interview that he was feeling great after making that shot and stated that he was in such a zone that not even Jesus could have stopped him.

The statement instantly went viral all over social media, with Kuzma too sharing a sly smile after making the comment.
Now, 2-time NBA champion Kevin Durant has given a humorous reply to the Lakers forward, subtly mocking him.
Kevin Durant mocks Kuzma’s ‘Jesus’ statement
KD took to twitter to take a jibe at Kuzma over the ‘Jesus’ comment. The former Warriors man said that he backed Jesus to make a stop/block on Kuzma.
I got Jesus gettin a stop

The comment was received well by social media, and a lot of fans felt Durant had a point; Jesus for sure would have blocked that easy.
Durant has missed this season with an injury and will return to the league next season alongside Kyrie Irving in Brooklyn after spending three fruitful years with the Golden State Warriors.
Kuzma on the other hand has shown glimpses of his potential during the seeding games in the bubble. The third-year forward is likely to play the role of the third scorer in the team behind LeBron James and Anthony Davis. LeBron even mentioned after their victory over Nuggets that Kuzma’s scoring and shooting abilities might come in handy if the Lakers are to challenge for the title this season.
The Lakers front office and coaching staff feel that Kuzma needs to fire during the playoffs, if the Lakers need to go all the way and win the title. He takes a lot of burden off AD and LeBron offensively and that helps the Lakers on the defensive end too.
Kuzma has improved inside the bubble after having a bad season prior to the lockdown. The young star has looked confident on the defensive end as well as he guarded the likes of Kawhi Leonard during their clash against the Clippers.
