Buffalo Bills Stadium Name: The Buffalo Bills have temporarily renamed their field in Orchard Park to “Bills Stadium” until they find a new naming rights partner.

As we continue the transition process from New Era Field to a new naming rights partner, we will officially use the name Bills Stadium for our home in Orchard Park.

Why did they change it?

Buffalo based apparel company New Era bought the naming rights for the stadium back in 2016. Consequently, the stadium was renamed to “New Era Field”. New Era paid $35 million and were supposed to hold the naming rights throughout the 2022 season.

However, a month ago, New Era asked to be released from the agreement. Considering that fans won’t be allowed to attend games at the stadium this year, New Era decided that there was no point spending millions for the naming rights.

The Bills then removed all the New Era signs from the facility. Today, they officially announced their home in Orchard Park will go by the generic name “Bills Stadium” while they search for a new sponsor. Currently, there is no timetable for a new partner.
