What is Lacerated liver?
If you’re not a doctor, this essentially means there is a tear in his liver tissue. Lacerations range in severity and can even be fatal, but this obviously won’t be the case for Johnson.
Luckily, he is now resting comfortably in the hospital. Doctors will observe the situation for at least 24 hours before we get any more news on the injury.

Injury Woes
After he impressed at Wake Forest, the Texans selected Johnson in the first round of the 2015 draft. Unfortunately, injuries got the best of him. He missed a staggering 29 games in his 4 seasons in Houston.
The 28 year old has suffered a plethora of injuries in his career. A torn MCL, 2 broken feet, multiple concussions, and now a lacerated liver. You know you luck is bad when you’re the first NFL player to suffer a liver laceration in 13 years.
His injury is also terrible news for the Browns, who signed Johnson to a 1 year, $3 million contract this year. With under 3 weeks to go for their season opener, they now have 10 players on their injury report.
Included on this list are RB Nick Chubb who is coming off a huge 1,494 rushing yards season and DE Myles Garret who is returning from his suspension.
