One hopes that the extra 3 day break would be helpful in James’ recovery. His presence on the court is something that is unparalleled, especially with the kind of form he is in currently.

LeBron James in series vs Blazers
LeBron James has been essential in Lakers winning 3 straight games to go up 3-1 against the Blazers.
The Lakers star has been averaging 24.7ppg, 11.3apg and 7.3rpg in this series. After having quiet first two games, scoring-wise, James exploded in games 3 and 4. He had 38-12-8 in Game 3 and 30-6-10 in Game 4.
With games happening every other day in the Bubble, Lakers would want to wrap up the series tonight in order to get some extra days rest before the Western conference semi-finals. The Thunder and Rockets are locked in at 2-2 and that series could very well go the distance.
