‘They were strategising at night’- James Harden and Russell Westbrook stay up after Game 2 loss vs Lakers
Harden and Westbrook would have to buckle up to face LeBron James and the Lakers and they stayed up late in order to come up with solutions.
The Rockets had an off game in the second match-up for the series. After a very strong show in Game 1, the Rockets seemed to have cooled off a bit.
They showed a glimmer of brilliance in the 3rd Quarter where they cut up a 21 point Lakers lead and ended up taking a 2 point lead to finish the quarter. The Rockets shot brilliantly from the 3-point land and paved their way back in the game.

The Rockets could not seal the deal as LeBron and AD came out in the 4th Quarter on a mission. They took the Rockets by a storm and won the Game 2 to even the series.
Harden and Westbrook stay up figuring out how to deal with the Lakers
Russell Westbrook did not have the best of the games last night. He went 4-15 from the field and had 7 turnovers. Harden had a 27 point night, where he went 6-12 from the field.
They both got together and were out figuring out ways to one-up the Lakers.

How do the Rockets plan to win Game 3?
In the post-game conference, Rockets mentioned that they were taken by a surprise by the Lakers’ pace. After Rockets dominated Game 1 with their own pace, Game 2 was Lakers’ pace show.
Game 3 would be a chance for each team to take the series lead.
Russell Westbrook is expected to have a bounce-back game and prove the naysayers wrong. Lakers’ head coach Frank Vogel mentions that they would stick with their current game plan and their centers would sit as he would run their small-ball lineup as well, with Davis at the center.
With both the teams looking to take the lead, Game 3 should be a delight to watch!
