“I take the blame”: Jayson Tatum releases hard-hitting statement post Celtics’ Game 4 loss vs Heat

Jayson Tatum believes it’s his fault that the Celtics lost Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals and has vowed to make amends.

The higher seeded Boston Celtics have the ‘Herculean task’ of winning 3 straight in a row against the highly disciplined Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Celtics are down 3-1 as the Miami Heat ran Boston out of the arena behind Tyler Herro’s 37 point night off the bench.

The talk of the night was indeed Tyler Herro and his awe-inspiring game; however, Jayson Tatum’s strange performance has not been overlooked.

Jayson Tatum believes he is at fault for the Celtics blowing Game 4.

Tatum carried the blame on his shoulders, for blowing Game 4. When asked why he thought the Celtics performed poorly in the first half, Tatum replied, “I take a lot of the blame. I didn’t play like myself in the first half.”

There was an air of disappointment in Tatum’s words, as he felt that he got going a little too late for the Celtics.

Though Tatum redeemed himself in the 2^nd half, he most definitely had an abysmal 1^st half.

Jayson Tatum starts the game off on a horrible note

Boston Celtics’ ace player, Jayson Tatum started the game off going 0-6 from the field, as he couldn’t buy a bucket in the first half, notching 0 points in at the end of 2 quarters.

Tatum somehow turned his fortune around in the 3^rd quarter as he scored 16 points, which included back to back 3s, and 2 nifty and-1s on his old teammate, Jae Crowder.

Tatum finished the game off strong as he buried a clutch triple to bring the game within 6.

This was not enough as both Jimmy Butler and rookie Tyler Herro stepped up and knocked down several clutch shots from the charity stripe to seal the deal for the Heat.

This game from Tatum was quite reminiscent of the one Steph Curry had last year against the Rockets. Except, the Warriors won that game.
