‘If his brow is low, don’t talk to him’: LeBron James on ‘eyebrow Anthony Davis’ method to gauge Lakers star’s mood

The Lakers’ superstar duo have quite a chemistry both on and off the court and LeBron James has a unique ‘eyebrow’ way of understanding Anthony Davis.

As soon as the announcement of Anthony Davis joining LeBron in LA came out, their chemistry was something everyone was waiting to see. When the season started, everyone expected it to be a few games before they clicked, but that wasn’t the case. AD and Bron connected right off the bat.

It seemed as if it the two had been playing together for a long time and that chemistry has only grown through the course of the season.

After their first few games together, when coach Vogel was asked about the two of them. He said, “What I’m seeing here is how much they spend time together away from the basketball court, and quite frankly, even in film sessions, in the locker room, it seems like the two of them are always together and just building that, that friendship. … I think LeBron’s just done everything in his power to make sure that he’s going out of his way to make sure Anthony’s comfortable with his new team.”

“See how his brow is,” LeBron reveals his gauge for interacting with AD

The Lakers took Game 4 from the Nuggets to build their 3-1 lead last night. In the post-game interview, a reporter asked LeBron about when does he know to interact with AD and when to leave him alone. To this LeBron replied by mentioning AD’s famed unibrow.

The Lakers star explained his unique way of understanding when to leave Davis alone and when to approach him and talk about stuff.

LeBron has a special gauge for whether to talk to AD:

“See how low his brow is. If his brow is really low, then you know not to talk to him. If it’s higher, then he’s accepted the fact that you’re allowed to come into his office and talk to him. Yesterday his brow was very low.”

Lakers chemistry as a team

The Lakers seem to be on their way to the NBA Finals, after taking a commanding 3-1 lead. The entire Lakers team seems like it’s well bonded.

AD and LeBron have it going on both ends of the court and this series has shown the world the importance of Dwight Howard and Rajon Rondo.

The comfort level and the understanding that the Lakers have is commendable and a lot of the credit also needs to go to Frank Vogel. He has built a team that is ready for a tough fight and that wants to make those sacrifices for its teammates.

The Nuggets are the comeback kids of the Bubble, but against a well-oiled and strong-willed Lakers team, they might not be able to script a historic 3-1 comeback again.
