‘LaVar Ball and his sons would make the Playoffs in Phoenix”- Skip Bayless has high praise for the Ball family

Skip Bayless says the 3 Ball brothers being coached by LaVar Ball would result in a playoff team in Phoenix.

Though LaVar Ball has cooled off with his outrageous takes, his opinions from years back are still being discussed to this day. Everything ranging from Lonzo and LaMelo teaming up, to LaVar beating Michael Jordan in a 1v1 has been brought to the spotlight.

This is of course due to LaMelo Ball being drafted 3^rd overall by the Charlotte Hornets. LaVar Ball’s fantasy for the longest time was to get his 3 sons into the NBA, and hopefully on the same team.

Right now, LiAngelo is a G-League player for the Oklahoma City Blues, so that dream isn’t exactly fulfilled yet.

Last year, LaVar had a future planned out for his sons in Phoenix, and Skip recalls that on the latest episode of Undisputed.

Skip Bayless would’ve wanted to see LaVar and his 3 sons on the Phoenix Suns.

Back in February of 2019, LaVar expressed his distaste for the Lakers organization and their handling of Lonzo. He said, “Lakers didn’t use Lonzo the right way. That’s why the Lakers look so raggedy now. Lonzo will make the Suns and Devin Booker better.”

He then continued to express how good a team with Lonzo, LiAngelo, LaMelo, Booker, and Ayton would look.

Skip Bayless talks about this quote on Undisputed. He believes LaVar would’ve been able to coach that starting 5 into a Playoff calibre team.

Would LaVar’s starting 5 be a playoff team?

This hypothetical is one of the most far-fetched ones out there. LiAngelo isn’t even in the NBA currently, nor is there a timeline for his arrival to the big leagues.

The spacing would be absolutely abysmal, there would be no defense played, and LaVar Ball has coaching experience no higher than at the high school level.
