‘Michael Jordan was still a bad MF’: Zach LaVine slams Twitter handle for meme about the GOAT

Zach LaVine beefed with the page ‘NBA on ESPN’, who mocked Michael Jordan with a meme relating to Mike Tyson versus Roy Jones Jr.

NBA on ESPN posted the pic of a towering Scottie Pippen during his time in Portland and Wizards’ Michael Jordan guarding him at the back. The page posted the photo by adding the caption: “Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr.”, mocking their difference in heights.

Zach LaVine, an ardent MJ fan just like most players from this generation, did not like this meme. He made it a point to turn attempt to poke fun into a basketball argument.

Michael Jordan’s status as greatest scorer of all time

Jordan’s legacy as the greatest scorer of all time is pretty secure in every which way. Despite being a guard, he averages a barely believable 49.7% field goal efficiency in the regular season. He has ten scoring titles to his name in 11 full seasons as a Chicago Bull.

Jordan also holds the records for highest scoring average by a player in both regular season and playoffs. He never averaged fewer than 30 points per game in a single playoff run.

One could go on and on about MJ’s statistical achievements and accolades, but the point is clear, he is regarded as the GOAT for many reasons.
