“This one’s on me”: Russell Westbrook delivers NSFW assessment and takes blames for Wizards’ loss against Orlando Magic
Wizards star Russell Westbrook took the blame for tonight’s loss to Orlando Magic with some NSFW words.
The Wizards are not having the start that they would have thought of when they heard the news about their team acquiring Russell Westbrook in a trade for John Wall. They are 0-2 to start the season. Bradley Beal has scored over 30 points in both of their contests. Russell Westbrook has recorded a triple-double as well.
Despite both the stars putting in the work, the team hasn’t found success to start the season. Russell Westbrook, after the match, was blaming himself for the loss. He says he was ‘bullsh*tting a lot’, and missed a lot of shots.
Westbrook: “This one is on me — bullshitting around, missing these shots.”

Russell Westbrook and his shooting woes
Russell Westbrook has always been a mediocre to subpar shooter. Into his 13th seasons now, Russ has shot over 30% from the deep in only 5 seasons.
To start this season, Westbrook has made zero three-pointers in the six attempts he has had over the course of the two matches. Moreover, his field goal percentage has not been the highest as well. He shot 6-19 in tonight’s matchup against the Magic and was 9-22 against the Sixers.
Even after the loss against the Sixers, Russ was seen shouldering the blame.
“Not good enough,” Westbrook said of his performance. “Honestly, I am kind of disappointed in myself, just some mishaps and plays where I could have been better,”
From what we have seen so far, the Wizards have a good offense flowing with Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook leading the way. They also have key contributors in Thomas Bryant and Isaac Bonga. It all comes down to their shot selection and their collective offense as a team. As soon as they can figure out this, this Wizards team is playoffs bound.
