‘Ray Allen and I have been waiting for you’: Reggie Miller reacts to Steph Curry making 2500 career 3-pointers in the NBA
Reggie Miller welcomed Steph Curry to the 2500 3-pointer club, of which he is a member along with Ray Allen.
The Indiana Pacers legend was the forerunner of the 3-pointer revolution in the modern NBA. He was the first high-volume 3-point shooter to make full use of off-ball movement. Miller is commonly considered one of the most clutch players in league history. His excellence from range needs no introduction.
Many believe that Reggie would have been an even more potent scorer in today’s game. He certainly would have had better spacing and an emptier paint to work with. Miller may have had a weird shooting form, but with the reps he put in, he was a really consistent shooter.
Reggie has crafted a career in sports announcing after his retirement. He’s one of TNT’s most recognizable voices, if not the most beloved like Kevin Harlan.

The Warriors registered the first win of their young season yesterday with a buzzer beater from Damion Lee. Steph got back to good form with a 36-point outing. He will need to produce a lot more of these for them to make the playoffs.
