Is LeBron James playing tonight vs Spurs? Lakers release ankle injury report ahead of game against DeMar DeRozan and co
Lakers’ superstar LeBron James has been listed as questionable for tonight’s matchup against the Spurs
LeBron James turns 36 today! It is a day of joy and celebration as a once in a generation athlete completes another year of his stay on this planet. The Los Angeles Lakers are playing tonight, on the King’s birthday, as they face the San Antonio Spurs.

It seems like the Lakers might have to face Greg Popovich and his Spurs without the King tonight. LeBron has been listed as questionable for tonight’s matchup, due to his ankle sprain.
LeBron James and his ankle woes this season
The Los Angeles Lakers are not off to the flying start a lot of people thought they would. They made huge improvements to their roster and should be better.
One of the main reasons is the limitation that LeBron James’ ankles are putting on him. In the very first game of the season, the King had to exit the game early due to an ankle injury. He held things together, as the Lakers beat the Mavericks on Christmas day.
He did not play much in the game against the Wolves, due to the Lakers having a strong lead. Later, the King was listed as questionable for the game against the Blazers as well, due to the same ankle sprain.
Hopefully, LeBron James’ ankle recovers soon, as the Lakers need him to be on the floor to elevate their level as a whole. Maybe his birthday celebrations with the Lakers squad might help with that as well.
The Lakers take on the Spurs tonight at 8.30 PM ET.
