“You still got the 14 3-pointers tho!”: Klay Thompson posts hilarious video in response to Steph Curry’s 62 point night, Warriors star responds

Steph Curry eclipsed Klay Thompson’s career high in points Sunday night and Klay Thompson doesn’t seem all too happy about it.

Steph Curry put the world on notice when facing off against Damian Lillard and the Portland TrailBlazers on Sunday night. He dropped a career high 62 points while shooting an efficient 18-31 from the field.

This however, isn’t the first time a Warrior has hit the 60 point mark in the franchise’s history. Warriors legends Rick Barry, Wilt Chamberlain, and Joe Fulk have all dropped 60 bombs in their playing career.

Most recently, fellow Splash Bro Klay Thompson joined that club in 2016. This was the famous ’11 dribble’ 60 point game. He went 21-33 from the field while also draining 8 out of the 14 attempted 3s.

Klay Thompson shares a video showing off his frustration with Steph Curry surpassing his career high.

With Curry dropping 62 points, he has now surpassed his teammate Klay Thompson’s career high by two points.

This warranted Thompson himself to take to Instagram to hilariously air out his frustration. He posted a video of Adam Sandler in one of his movies raging and tackling his friends.

Steph in turn replied to this and reminded Klay about the fact that he still holds the record for most made 3s in a game which is 14.

This is obviously just some light-hearted banter between the two as it is very well known that Klay Thompson and Steph Curry are good friends on the court and even better ones off it.

This current iteration of the Golden State Warriors has Andrew Wiggins serving as their 2^nd option on offense. Having Klay Thompson in that role would make the Warriors far more deadly than they are now.

The Steph-Wiseman PnR would also work much more efficiently if Klay was in a corner ready to spot up from 3. Not to mention, when Thompson is engaged, he is one of the league’s best perimeter defenders. It’s safe to say that having Thompson active on this roster would add a whole other dimension to it, offensively and defensively.
