“They Hate The Process”: Sixers star Joel Embiid takes a dig at the NBA for cancelling Heat vs Celtics last night
Sixers big man Joel Embiid is absolutely mad about the fact that the Celtics-Heat game got postponed due to shortage of available players.
The Philadelphia 76ers are facing an unusual situation. The NBA has not had to cancel/postpone any games, despite the pandemic, except for the Rockets-Thunder game to begin the season. That was all till last night when they decided to postpone the Celtics-Heat game. Even though the postponement of the game is for a valid reason, it did not sit right with Joel Embiid.
THEY HATE THE PROCESS

This tweet was sent out by the 3x NBA All-Star. It was an obvious reaction to the Heat-Celtics game getting postponed because they could not find 8 players to suit up. However, when the Sixers could not find more than 7 available players, the league did not postpone the game against the Nuggets.
Joel Embiid is not content with the way NBA rulings were not just for the Sixers
The Philadelphia 76ers fell into trouble when their guard Seth Curry had a positive corona test result. He was in the arena for the Nets game and left the same as soon as he heard of his reports. After contact tracing, around half of the Sixers squad has been ruled out for the next week or so due to the league’s health and safety protocols.
This resulted in the Sixers playing the Nuggets with only 7 players, as the NBA did not consider their request to postpone the game. They lost 115-103, which was about 20 points less of a margin one than one would have expected
After his first tweet, Joel Embiid followed it with another angry tweet.

With the Sixers players not having a definite timeline to return back to action, the league might force them to play with the limited players they have, and that would affect the flying start Sixers had taken to begin the season.
