AJ Styles made his debut in the 2016 Royal Rumble. He entered the match at the 3rd position and locked horns with WWE’s current poster-boy, Roman Reigns. Currently, AJ Styles is the United States Champion and has single-handedly established supremacy for Smackdown Live over Raw. He has had memorable feuds with John Cena, Shane Mcmohan and Kevin Owens to name a few. He also rightfully proclaims Smackdown Live as “The House that AJ Styles built.”

In a recent interview, AJ Styles opened up about his current run in the WWE. He highlighted that he had to change very little with respect to his wrestling style. However, the thing AJ Styles changed since venturing into WWE is to adjust with the various cameras used in television programming.

He said, “I never changed my style with respect to how my wrestle. The only difference was that WWE has a lot more cameras facing you than the independent circuit, but I think that was just a learning curve that you need to go through and it has really helped me.”
On a possible scope for improvement
AJ Styles is widely recognized for his amazing work ethic. He always looks to improve to keep himself above the par level in today’s wrestling industry. He also cited the example of current IGWP champion Kazuchika Okada.
“Of course I have room for improvement. Look at a talent like Kazuchika Okada; he is one of the best wrestlers in the world and the kid is not even 30. He has won the IWGP championship at such a young age and when you see a talent like that, it inspires you to work harder.”
Currently, AJ Styles is embroiled in a feud with Tye Dillinger and Baron Corbin for the US Championship as a part of the US Open Challenge.
