The Rock to appear on Impact Wrestling for Ken Shamrock’s Hall of Fame induction. The pair clashed with each other several times back in 1998.
The Rock and Ken Shamrock have always spoken very highly of each other. Shamrock has been very vocal with his fondness for the Great One. The Rock on the other hand, has often called the World’s Most Dangerous Man a huge influence on him.
Shamrock was announced as one of the inductees for the Impact Wrestling Hall of fame this year. While there is no word on when the ceremony will take place, Impact’s first ever world champion has already revealed his desire to receive an induction greeting from the Rock himself.

Shamrock took to Twitter and asked The Rock if he could send him a greeting for the induction. “@TheRock Hey brother I am being Inducted into the Impact Wrestling HOF I would be very grateful if you could send a Induction greeting,” he wrote. “After all I believe my time with you was my greatest memories in Wrestling. Thank you.”
The Rock responded about an hour later saying he would have it done by the weekend.
“Congrats, my brother. Awesome news. I will take care of this and get it to you by this weekend,” Rock replied.

Ken Shamrock helped build The Rock
The Rock and Ken Shamrock faced each other several times in 1998 while they were a part of the WWE. The two faced each other on that year’s Royal Rumble, King of the Ring, Wrestlemania and Survivor Series.
:I’d like to think that me and The Rock were – at the time when we were working those programs, we had put on matches that were just as good as some of the top guys’ matches, and it was because our chemistry was so good together,” Shamrock had said last year.
The Rock also took to Twitter to show his appreciation for the UFC Hall of Famer, thanking him for helping build “The Rock” character.
“@ShamrockKen helped build “The Rock” character,” he wrote. “Huge #AttitudeEra influence. We tore the houses down together. I’ll always be grateful and respectful. He’s a f machine. They don’t make em like that anymore. Thanks for the house brother Ken”
