“Kyrie Irving is an all-world player”: Kevin Durant raves about his Nets teammate after his 18-point 4th quarter to beat Bam Adebayo’s Heat

Kyrie Irving leads the Brooklyn Nets to a victory over the Miami Heat by scoring 18 in the 4^th; Kevin Durant reacts.

The Brooklyn Nets finally clinched their first win with all three of their superstars hitting the court at once. After two consecutive losses to Collin Sexton and the Cleveland Cavaliers, Kyrie Irving and the Nets bounced back against the defending Eastern Conference champions.

Kevin Durant might’ve led the team in points with 31, but the 2016 champion led the Nets when it mattered most; in the 4^th quarter.

Kyrie Irving entered the 4^th quarter with merely 10 points but would finish the game with 28. He took over in the final twelve minutes of the bout as he scored 18 points to put the Heat away 128-124.

Kevin Durant sings Kyrie Irving’s praise after his 18 point explosion in the 4^th

Kevin Durant took to his postgame media availability to praise his teammate Kyrie Irving for his late game performance. KD said, “You see how special, talented, and hardworking Kyrie is. He works on all of those shots every day. He comes in with that mentality, especially late in games, he’s going to have to knock those down for us. He’s an all-world talent and a great teammate.”

It looks like Durant has an immense amount of faith in the 28 year old point guard. After all, Irving has proven on multiple occasions that he can pull through in the clutch.

It seems as though the Brooklyn Nets’ strategy to winning games will simply be to outscore their opponents. In the 3 games this big three has played, both the Cavs and the Heat scored well over 120 points.

The Heat scored 124 points without Jimmy Butler. Kyrie and Harden pulled through in the final one minute of the game to help put the Nets up for good.
