“I got G14 classification”: Shaquille O’Neal makes braggadocious social media post featuring Lakers’ LeBron James, repeats his criticism of Donovan Mitchell
Hall-of-Famer and Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal takes yet another dig at Donovan ‘Spida’ Mitchell in his latest, narcisstic Instagram post.
Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell and Shaquille O’Neal have been on each other’s case ever since Shaq made his remarks about Spida. On one of the episodes of Inside the NBA, Shaq had said that Spida can never be the MVP on a championship team. Shaq did get a lot of backlash for his comment, but none came from Donovan Mitchell himself.
Along with LeBron and KD, Mitchell’s teammate Joe Ingles also took a shot at Shaq for saying so. Shaq has been on the Jazz’s case for some time now, starting with Rudy Gobert and his enormous contract. Very recently, Shaq went in the Instagram DMs of an artist who photoshopped Spida dunking on Shaq and left some profane remarks.
“I got G14 classification to say what I say.”: Shaquille O’Neal blasts another shot at Spida
Shaquille O’Neal, the co-host of Inside the NBA, has taken yet another petty shot at Donovan Mitchell. Shaq took it to his Instagram to share a post, where he put pictures with his former guards.
The photos featured the likes of Penny Hardaway, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Steve Nash, and a very confusing cameo by LeBron James. In the caption of the post, Shaq wrote:
“This is what greatness at the guard position looks like. I played with the best ever-to do it. You know I know what best look like. #donthavetohate. Y’all kno I got G14 classification to say what I say.”

It is a clear retaliation to all the comments and remarks saying Shaq does not know what he is talking about. Something to be noted is that LeBron James has very rarely played guard, and when Shaq was with LBJ in Cleveland, the Cavs already had a guard. A hilarious aspect of this post is that he put a photo with Steve Nash, someone who he accused of stealing his MVP titles while they were together in the Suns.
Hopefully, this post is the last message in this conversation, and the analysts on Inside the NBA do a better job at not making such comments.
