Pakistan vs South Africa live stream: Why is Karachi Test Day 1 not being televised on Sony Network?
Pakistan vs South Africa live stream: The first Test match between Pakistan and South Africa is not being televised on the Sony Network today.
During the first day of the first Test of the ongoing South Africa’s tour of Pakistan in Karachi, South Africa captain Quinton de Kock won the toss and opted to bat.
In a contest which sees two Test teams looking to make their way back into the format on the back of fairly young squads, the two-match series will also be captained by respectively younger captains in de Kock and Babar Azam.
Despite opening batsman Dean Elgar (58) scoring his 16th Test half-century, the visitors have lost half their side as their batsmen couldn’t convert their starts into significant innings.

For Pakistan, debutant spinner Nauman Ali has been the pick of the bowlers after dismissing Elgar and de Kock (15). Apart from Nauman Ali, opening batsman Imran Butt has also been handed his Test debut at the National Stadium.

Sony Network signing a three-year deal with the Pakistan Cricket Board had come as a refreshing development for the Indian fans as they finally received a stable network to watch international cricket in Pakistan for the next three years.
While the ongoing South Africa’s tour of Pakistan is scheduled to be televised and streamed on Sony TEN 2 (and Sony TEN 2 HD) and Sony LIV respectively, it wasn’t the case today which confused numerous Indian fans.

While there hasn’t been any confirmation from the broadcaster regarding why Day 1 of the first Test wasn’t televised, it is being reported that the same happened as the channel was originally scheduled to televise the fifth day of England’s tour of Sri Lanka today.
With the Sri Lanka vs England Test match finishing on the fourth day yesterday, the Pakistan vs South Africa Test is highly likely to be televised from tomorrow.
