The auction for the 14th season of the Indian Premier League is less than a week away now. It will be on February 18 in Chennai that fortunes of many players might change for the better.
In what will be a mini-auction, a maximum of 61 out of the 292 shortlisted players will be able to find buyers. It is worth mentioning that a total of 1,114 players had registered for IPL 2021 auction which were shortlisted to 292 last night.
Unlike last year, the overall budget of franchises hasn’t increased by INR 3 crore which means that they will have to form a squad within the allowed maximum limit of INR 85 crore.
