‘Stop it’: James Harden gets all the plaudits from Nets’ Kevin Durant for his smooth move against LeBron James’ Lakers

Kevin Durant indicated James Harden to ‘Stop it’ after the 8-time All-Star converted a bucket after some exquisite dribble moves.

Ever since James Harden was acquired by the Brooklyn Nets organization, they became immediate favorites to win the title. The Nets’ big three of Harden, Durant and Irving, will be expected to deliver in their first season together.

On Thursday night, Brooklyn Nets played against LeBron James and his Lakers team. This was a highly anticipated matchup as both these teams are favorites. The Lakers were without the likes of their All-Star Anthony Davis, while Nets’ Kevin Durant was sidelined for the game.

The Beard had a slick move in the third quarter, splitting the defense, taking the ball to the rack and laying it up over Montrezl Harrell. Kevin Durant who was cheering his team on had a hilarious reaction to his teammate’s slick move.

James Harden spoils LeBron’s historic night in the absence of Kevin Durant

Brooklyn Nets emerged victorious in the highly anticipated matchup. Although, LeBron James reaches yet another milestone during the game.

On his way to scoring 32 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists, King James became the third and youngest player ever to reach the 35,000 points milestone. With James Harden’s 23-point, 11-assists double-double, the Nets grabbed a dominant 109-98 victory over the defending champions.

We couldn’t see the two captains of this year’s All-Star Game, Kevin Durant and LeBron James face off against each other. KD has been sidelined for the third straight game with a hamstring injury.

But all these three games, the Nets were able to survive without their future Hall-Of-Famer. With the win, the Brooklyn Nets have a five-game winning streak. The Nets now improve their record to 19-12, only to be second behind the Sixers in the Eastern Conference.

The Lakers lost only their second game in the past 10. They maintain their second position in the Western Conference behind Utah Jazz, with an impressive 22-8 record.
