Kurt Angle names the best Wrestler he’s ever worked with. The WWE Hall of Famer has a legendary body of work in the promotion.
Kurt Angle is one of WWE’s biggest stars ever. The amateur wrestling Olympic Gold Medalist took to professional wrestling like a fish to water and had good to great matches with several other wrestlers in the entirety of his career.

While speaking on his podcast, Angle spoke on a lot of topics. Owen Hart was one of the topics discussed. The WWE Hall of Famer said that Owen was the first wrestler who would change a match and adjust to the fan’s reaction. He named another wrestler who would also do the same before declaring him the best he ever worked with.

“The match was incredible, Owen carried me through the whole thing,” Angle said on the latest episode of The Kurt Angle Show Podcast. “He came up with some great ideas and the crazy thing was he would audible during the match, He would switch moves around and he would let me know ahead of time what we were doing. He was the first person I went in the ring with that would change the match and adjust just because of a fan reaction.”
“The other person was Stone Cold Steve Austin, he could adjust to anything. That guy was the best in-ring worker I ever worked with. He’s very underrated in the ring. Owen was one of the best too, he was a great in-ring worker. He could wrestle any style, that’s what made him so valuable.”
Stone Cold and Kurt Angle had excellent chemistry with each other. They were funny together and were absolutely clinical inside the ring. Angle famously defeated Stone Cold to win his second WWE (then WWF) Championship before dropping the title back to him.
