Zach LaVine got his first All-Star nod when they announced the reserves list last night. It was a well-deserved selection. The 25-year-old has been putting up some spectacular numbers.
He has been averaging 28.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 44% from beyond the arc. He’s led the Bulls to the 6th spot in the East with a 15-16 record.
Dwyane Wade has an amazing reaction after Zach LaVine makes the All-Star Team
Over the past two years, Zach LaVine has been performing at a constantly improving rate. Last season he was averaging 25.5 points per contest, and this season he has bumped the figure up to 28.8.
Despite all his efforts, Zach LaVine got snubbed from an All-Star selection last year. However, this year he made sure his performance spoke for itself and earned his first-ever All-Star selection.
Dwyane Wade reacted to the same with a very wholesome tweet. In his tweet, he said that he felt proud of Zach like he was his own son.
Why am I proud of @ZachLaVine making the AllStar game like he’s my son 😂 Congrts YnG’ they’re listening now!

It was a well-deserved selection, and LaVine would be looking forward to making his mark on the All-Star game in Atlanta. With the pace they are playing at, the Bulls look like they are playoff-bound. If they make the playoffs, it would be their first appearance since the 2016-17 season.
