“LeBron James gives Terry Rozier a deja vu moment”: Lakers superstar hands the Hornets guard some 2018 flashbacks with an emphatic chase-down block
Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James gave Hornets point guard Terry Rozier a blast of the past with a chase-down block.
The short-handed Los Angeles Lakers took on a feisty Charlotte Hornets team at home and managed to contain them 116-105. LeBron James led the valiant effort, scoring a game-high 37 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists.
Dennis Schroder added 22 points and 7 assists. Kyle Kuzma and Talen Horton Tucker added 12 points each from the bench.
The Hornets managed to hold their own, but ultimately the defending champions stole the game away in the final frame. The rookie sensation LaMelo Ball led the Hornets with 26 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 assists. Terry Rozier added 20 points.
Even though the Hornets were shooting with a better percentage, the Lakers made more shots by taking more attempts. Turnovers were a major bother for the young Hornets team.
LeBron James gives Terry Rozier 2018 flashbacks with his chase-down block
Back in 2018, LeBron James single-handedly carried the Cleveland Cavaliers to the NBA Finals. After a hard-fought 4-3 series with the Pacers for the first round, the Cavs swept the Raptors 4-0 in the second round.
For the ECF, they matched with the Celtics, a series that went on to 7 games again. In the final game, LBJ had a huge block on Terry Rozier, which tilted the balance on the Cavs’ side.
In tonight’s match, Terry Rozier was on his approach to the ring, after leaving King James behind. However, LBJ was able to recover soon and managed to block the shot attempt, with 2.36 left in the 4th quarter.

With this win, the Lakers are now 2nd again in the Western Conference, with a record of 28-13. They’re 1.5 games behind the Jazz, and they would look to close that gap in time for AD’s return.
