“We can’t tolerate this disparity”: Kyrie Irving lashes out at the NCAA for preferential treatment given to male athletes compared to the women at the March Madness Bubble
Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving hits out at NCAA over the shocking disparity between men’s and women’s facilities at March Madness.
Kyrie Irving has always been one of the more outspoken stars in the NBA. The star has seldom been a diplomatic figure, and often just announces his opinion outright, no matter how outrageous it can be sometimes.
This time though, he’s standing up for a cause that is more than worth it. And the issue at hand is honestly a disgrace, and almost insulting to the women’s game today. Some things need to change, and it seems Kyrie Irving has chosen to stand up for the cause.
“We can’t tolerate this!” Kyrie Irving is furious with the women’s facilities in the NCAA semi-bubble
As many know, the NCAA has set up bubbles in order to proceed with ‘March Madness’ much to the delight of many.
In these bubbles, the NCAA is of course responsible that the athletes get all the resources they require. However, while the organization has gone above and beyond for men, the effort has not been matched for the women.
After noticing this on social media, Kyrie Irving reacted to the situation on his Instagram story.

Irving has had some very controversial opinions in the past, but this is not one of those scenarios. This is a cause that not only players but even just the viewers of the tournament need to get behind.
These players are not paid by the college setup. But the NCAA earns millions because of their efforts. The least they deserve is to receive the resources and facilities they were promised.
We hope that the NCAA responds quickly to this problem and provides a massive upgrade to the facilities and resources they provide to women.
