Weather at Pune today: What is the weather prediction for 1st India vs England ODI?
Weather at Pune: The SportsRush presents for you the detailed weather prediction for the first India vs England ODI.
During the first ODI of the ongoing England’s tour of India in Pune, England captain Eoin Morgan’s decision of winning the toss and electing to field hasn’t gone down well as the Indian top-order has continued its domination in the format.
England’s new-ball bowling pair of Mark Wood and Sam Curran did bowled a few economical overs initially. However, once Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma managed to counter the swing with the new ball, run-scoring didn’t look like a daunting task for them.
Sharma (28), played a rash shot to edge a Ben Stokes delivery behind the wickets but his dismissal didn’t deter Dhawan from playing his shots especially after getting his eye in.
With Dhawan putting together a 105-run partnership for the second wicket alongside captain Virat Kohli (56), he has put India in a position from where they should cross the 300-run mark without much discomfort in addition to him scoring a century himself.

Weather at Pune today
As far as the weather at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune is concerned so far, it has primarily been a sunny day with brief periods of gloomy weather.
While the temperature has been around the 30 degree mark till now, it is almost certain to drop by some five degree especially after sunset. It is worth mentioning that the change in temperature was pointed out by Kohli at the toss as well. “Very happy to bat first. We had different plans. Weather is going to drastically change in the evening. It’s a great opportunity for us to put runs on the board,” Kohli had told Star Sports in the afternoon.
