‘LeBron James is inciting violence against Ohio police officer’: Lakers star accused of uninformed, hasty tweeting and charging people with racial sentiments
LeBron James has been treading hot water on the social justice train for a while. He finally slipped up and gave his opponents a golden chance.
Ma’Khia Bryant, a 16-year-old girl, was apprehended outside of her own home in Columbus, Ohio on Wednesday. Video footage suggests that she was about to stab another teenage girl right in front of police officers.
It has been confirmed that some girl called for police backup outside Ma’Khia’s home. Two girls had apparently turned up to jump her at her own home, and someone had informed the authorities.
Body cam footage released by Columbus PD reveals that Ma’Khia rushed at her assailants with a knife in full view of police. This was barely a few seconds after they’d arrived at the scene.
Despite the police officers shouting at her to disengage, Ma’Khia first pushed one girl to the ground after hitting her. She then charged straight at the second girl dressed in pink with a knife.
One of the police officers on call shot her 4 times as she drew her knife back – apparently ready to strike. Many people are condemning the officer for taking 4 shots at a teenager, but many are also lauding him for potentially saving a black teen’s life.
LeBron James blasted by people from all walks for inciting violence against police officer
LeBron had posted a tweet with a picture of the cop who’d shot Ma’Khia with the caption ‘You’re Next’. He immediately faced the kind of backlash that can shut down a handle. It was pandemonium.
LeBron James has now deleted the tweet calling for the cop to be arrested for shooting the woman armed with a knife, but don’t worry. The internet is forever.

It was truly surprising to see LeBron being blasted from all sides of the political spectrum. But it was probably warranted, given his self-admitted ignorant tweet.
ANGER does any of us any good and that includes myself! Gathering all the facts and educating does though! My anger still is here for what happened that lil girl. My sympathy for her family and may justice prevail! 🙏🏾✊🏾🤎👑

Lebron James is inciting violence against an Ohio police officer.
This is disgraceful and dangerous.
Is the NBA okay with this? Is Twitter?

On behalf of pro athletes, current and former, I apologize for how #LeBronJames just showed his inner Maxine Waters and made a very real, ongoing threat to the life of the officer who quickly acted to prevent a knife attack from becoming worse. Many of us appreciate what LEOs do!

LeBron is by far the most influential player for the most global US-centric sport. He should be better informed and more reasonable with his takes than this.
