“My son loves rebounding for Steph Curry not me”: Draymond Green hilariously calls his son a ‘smart kid’ for wanting to rebound for Warriors MVP over him
Draymond Green says that his son loves to rebound for Steph Curry because Curry misses way less shots than Draymond Green.
The chemistry between Draymond Green and Steph Curry has blossomed over the years into one of the best across the league, if not the best. After having played nearly a decade together and gone to 5 Finals as perhaps the two most important pieces on the Golden State Warriors, they’ve built up an incredible relationship off the court, that’s resulted in them meshing extremely well together on it.
There a number of reasons for why Green and Steph are as close as they but one of the biggest factors would have to be the flights to and fro from one city to the next. While the rest of their sleeps to catch some shut-eye, the two Warriors stars are wide awake, talking to one another about everything from politics to new business endeavors.
However, what connects these two, more than any other aspect in their lives is the fact that they’re both parents.
Draymond Green’s son wants to rebound for Steph Curry rather than for his own dad.
During practices, it’s common for players to have their children tag along for the ride to see their parents perfect their craft alongside their teammates. Draymond Green seems to bring his son to Warriors practices quite often as talks about how he loves to rebound for Steph Curry but not him.
“He wants to go rebound for Steph. I understand that you don’t have to do that much work when you rebound for Steph when compared to rebounding for me so I get it man, he’s a smart kid.”

It seems as though Draymond Green is aware of the fact that he has not been up to the mark on the offensive end of the floor this season. Well, when you’re being compared to the greatest shooter in NBA history, you may never live up to that mark on that end of the floor if Steph’s offensive game is the ‘mark’ that needs to be lived up to.
