WWE Star Edge tells Kurt Angle he’s sorry for staring ‘You Suck’ chants. The chant is now synonymous with the Olympic Gold Medalist.
Kurt Angle has had a storied career with the WWE. Very few have managed to look as threatening as he has while still leaving the fans in stitches. For all the World Championships and victories he earned in the WWE, he will forever be remembered for the ‘You Suck’ chant from fans.

The fans had already begun singing the chant to his theme song during his feud with the Rock. However, they fully embraced it during his storyline with fellow WWE Hall of Famer Edge. The Olympic Gold medalist took to Instagram to recall the moment that birthed the moment while Edge had a hilarious apology in store.

Back in 2002, Kurt Angle was supposed to unveil his new shirt on SmackDown. However, Edge had that shirt replaced with another that read “You Suck” instead.
Angle posted the segment with the caption:
“How the “You Suck” chants started. Thanks a lot Edge. ”

Edge had the following to say in response:
“Sorry Kurt. Love you. Makes you feel any better I’m wearing pleather pants and a wet spandex button up.”
Both Angle and Edge have gone on to become Hall of Famers in the WWE. Kurt wrestled his last match in the WWE against Baron Corbin at Wrestlemania 35. Edge returned to the WWE at Royal Rumble last year. His last match was in the main event of Wrestlemania 37. It is currently unknown if and when he will wrestle again.
