“LeBron James, you’re scaring no one”: Skip Bayless ridicules Lakers star for posting warmup video ahead of his comeback from ankle injury
Skip Bayless takes to Twitter to say that LeBron James should be embarrassed for posting a video of himself jogging, instead of sprinting.
LeBron James has had an interesting 3rd season with the Los Angeles Lakers to say the least. In the first few months of the 2020-21 season, James was up there at the top of the MVP leaderboards alongside Joel Embiid and Nikola Jokic.
It seemed as though if the ‘King’ were to continue on his current path, putting up impressive stats and leading the Lakers to a top seed in the West, he would be neck-and-neck with Joel Embiid for MVP honors. However, that all changed when he sprained his ankle against the Atlanta Hawks on March 20th and was ruled ‘out indefinitely’.
With his return from injury creeping closer and closer, LeBron James released a video on his Instagram of his road back from his ankle sprain. Upon the release of this video, Skip Bayless immediately took to Twitter to ridicule it.

LeBron James gets criticized by Skip Bayless for releasing a video of himself jogging.
It seems as though the ‘LeBron-hate train’ hasn’t lost any steam with Skip Bayless at the helm. Even when sidelined the Undisputed co-host cannot keep the 4x champ’s name out of his mouth. Understandably so as LeBron James is the biggest draw in the NBA by far.
With the Lakers gearing up to perhaps have LeBron suit up for them in this home stretch of regular season games, Bayless had to let out his frustrations over how James announced his eventual return to NBA hardwood.
“Could somebody explain LeBron’s IG post in which he’s jogging at 1mph up and back on an empty court? If he were sprinting, ok, pretty impressive. But this is pretty embarrassing. Did he really think this would scare opponents?”

LeBron James and his decision to jog in this video has nothing to do with ‘scaring’ his opponents. Seeing LeBron sprint doesn’t drastically increase the ‘fright’ factor of the one minute montage.
Regardless, James has little to no time to address comments on this video as he has much more important things to think about, such as the fact that the Los Angeles Lakers look a tad bit lost without him on the court, directing traffic and/or taking over games in pivotal situations.
