“LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Kareem Abdul-Drummond lost to the Raptors”: Skip Bayless mocks the Lakers for 121-114 loss and calls out Shannon Sharpe

Skip Bayless takes to Twitter to mock LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers for losing to a depleted Toronto Raptors team. 

The race to snag the 6th seed out West has become as close as it’s been all season long. Three teams now share identical records of 36-28, with those being the Portland TrailBlazers, Dallas Mavericks, and now, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. Damian Lillard and the Blazers were the only team of those 3 to take care of business tonight however. 

The Dallas Mavericks lost to the Sacramento Kings following a questionable Luka Doncic ejection and the Lakers followed suit, losing to struggling and depleted Toronto Raptors squad, led by a combined 76 points from Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam. Skip Bayless had warned the Lakers of falling into the play-in prior to the game and urged LeBron James to win it for his team at Staples Center tonight.

However, an unprecedented re-aggravation of LeBron James’s right ankle sprain caused him to leave the game with 6:42 left in the 4th quarter of the game. The purple and gold were down by 16 at this point and with the way Lowry and Siakam were torching them all night, a last minute surge was unlikely. 

Skip Bayless goes off on LeBron James and the Lakers for their loss to the depleted Raptors. 

Skip Bayless continued his mockery of the Lakers deciding to sign Andre Drummond, calling him Kareem Abdul-Drummond in his latest tweet bashing the Lakers. He would also call out his Undisputed co-host, Shannon Sharpe by referring to him as ‘LeShannon’, hinting towards the latter’s infatuation with LeBron James. 

LeBron, AD and Kareem Abdul-Drummond just lost to a Toronto without Anunoby or Van Vleet. Can’t wait to see how LeShannon defends this one.

More than fighting for a guaranteed spot in the Playoffs, the Lakers should hope that LeBron James is as close to healthy as possible as the postseason approaches. The way the rest of the schedule looks for the aforementioned 3 teams in the race for the 6th seed, the Mavericks have the best chance at snagging it. 

This is because the Mavs have one of the easiest schedules remaining in the league with respect to how many, above .500 teams they have left to play. LeBron James and the Lakers on the other hand, have a fairly difficult road ahead. They have a crucial game against the Blazers coming up soon. 

A victory over Damian Lillard’s squad would most definitely help the LakeShow climb up the standings and battle it out for the final Playoff spot with the Mavs.
