“We need to be concerned about LeBron James”: NBA insiders agree that the Lakers star is still far off from his physical best despite triple-double vs Warriors
NBA insider reveals some terrible news regarding the condition of Lakers star LeBron James ahead of their series against the Suns.
LeBron James may be back for the LA Lakers, but he is nowhere close to being at 100%.
It might be frightening for fans around the NBA, but it’s true. The King’s high ankle sprain has taken far more out of him than what anybody expected. The player has aggravated the injury on multiple occasions and seems to almost not use his right leg as much anymore.
This was especially visible in the recent play-in game against the Golden State Warriors. The game was spectacular, to say the least, and will go down as one of the most entertaining in NBA history. But while the home team came away victorious at the end, all Lakers’ fans could do in the first half was worry about James.
The player constantly seemed to be in pain and lacked any real explosion off his injured ankle at the time. But as the game went on, it became less noticeable, so fans forgot all about it.
Recently though, ESPN’s Marc J Spears revealed some terrible news. And it’s the one that fans of the franchise will not want to hear at all, especially ahead of the playoffs.
“We need to be concerned about LeBron James”: Marc J. Spears tells ESPN that the Lakers could be in big trouble
Many in the NBA community may not remember this, but LeBron James’s ankle problem started in the first game of the season. It was against the LA Clippers that the King initially tweaked it.
And despite being listed as doubtful for almost every game, he played anyway. His eventual injury against the Hawks served as a very serious aggravation of that early tweak. And now, it is something that has been biting James hard.
As previously mentioned, after the Chosen one’s most recent performance, several fans just up and forgot about the severity of his injury. However, ESPN’s Marc J. Spears recently shared some really bad news with the world. Here is the tweet that was shared by ‘The Jump’ on the topic.

The Lakers may have finally made the playoffs, but in no way have any time to rest. Their first-round matchup is against the Phoenix Suns, who have been phenomenal this year. For the reigning champions to win, James will have to be very productive during the game.
However, with his injuries and father time finally catching up to him, will he really be able to pull it off for the franchise?
