“Playoff P helped the Clippers close this win with Kawhi Leonard on the bench”: Skip Bayless surprisingly lauds Paul George following his incredible Game 4 performance against Utah
Following a Game 4 win against Donovan Mitchell and the Jazz, Skip Bayless gave props to Clippers star Paul George for his outstanding performance.
Ever since Paul George had a disappointing 2020 playoffs performance, people have given him disrespectful nicknames like- ‘Pandemic P’ and ‘Way off P’. Clearly, George tarnished the reputation he once had of a superstar.
It seems as if PG13 has taken all the criticism personally, and is set to prove every doubter wrong, this postseason. On Monday night, George had an incredible performance dropping 31 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists on 45/40/90 shooting splits.
Behind the All-Star duo of Kawhi Leonard and Paul, the Los Angeles Clippers managed to beat Utah Jazz. Winning Game 4 118-104, LAC has evened the series at 2 apiece.

“Thank you Playoff P”: Skip Bayless appreciates Paul George’s performance
With Kawhi Leonard sidelined for the majority of the fourth quarter, Paul carried the team over the line. Scoring 9 of the Clippers 11 points since The Claw went out, the 6-foot-8 swingman was unstoppable.
Analyst Skip Bayless is one of the people who outrightly blasts George and calls him all kind of nasty names after a bad outing. Today, however, he gave the 7-time All-Star some huge props. Skip went to Twitter and wrote:
COME ON, RIDICULE PLAYOFF P NOW. CALL HIM PANDEMIC P. CALL HIM A CHOKER. CALL HIM MENTALLY WEAK. ALL HE DID WAS CLOSE THIS HUGE WIN WITH KAWHI AILING ON THE BENCH. THANK YOU, PLAYOFF P.

As the Clippers managed to win back-to-back games at Staples Center, they have fought their way back into the series. The Leonard-George duo, who coincidentally are averaging the identical stats this series, will have to keep up their good performance to help LAC win a couple more games.
Now that the series shifts to Utah again, the Western Conference Semi-Finals is far from over. Both teams would love to win Game 5 and get a 3-2 psychological advantage over their opponents. Game 5 tips off at 10 PM ET on Wednesday night.
